I can’t understand why Oprah picked this book for her book club especially after witnessing how upset she was as James Frey for “A Million Little Pieces. This story started out with a great,if obvious metaphor, sprinkled in a few parts of symbolism and then drifted into the supernatural when the rest of plot just did not seem to present itself. He was stealing the throne from Hamlet’s father. The parallels are obvious however, in Hamlet the reason for the uncle’s actions were made clear.
